In CBS' "Marple", the hat-loving old lady with propensity for solving crimes is being significantly aged down. (Can anyone imagine a commercial network launching a series with an octogenarian female lead in this youth-obsessed day and age?) After inheriting her grandmother's bookstore and realizing that things in this small California town aren't what they seem, a young woman begins working as a private investigator to get to the bottom of the town's mysteries.
