The CW will remain the home of the annual iHeartRadio Music Festival for several more years, the company announced Monday. The broadcast network signed a new multi-year with iHeartMedia which will allow it to remain the exclusive TV broadcaster of the Las Vegas concert and the annual holiday iHeartRadio Jingle Ball concert.

The Jingle Bell Ball is a concert held every year in December, by the radio station Capital at The O2 Arena. Artists that have headlined the ball are Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Rihanna, The Black Eyed Peas, Bruno Mars, Coldplay, Little Mix, Katy Perry, Kylie Minogue, Lady Gaga, Take That, Janet Jackson, Ellie Goulding and P!nk. Other notable acts who have performed at the Ball include, One Direction, Cheryl Cole, JLS, Miley Cyrus, Charlie Puth, Dua Lipa, David Guetta, Liam Payne, Shawn Mendes, Major Lazer, Jason Derulo, The Chainsmokers, Shakira, 5 Seconds of Summer, OneRepublic, Calvin Harris and Niall Horan. It is claimed that a portion of ticket sales profit is donated to Global's Make Some Noise, Capital's flagship charity, formerly known as Help a Capital Child and Help a London Child.

For The first group of acts announced for the 2016 ball. The line up for Night 1 was announced on 7 November 2016 & and the line up for night 2 was announced on 8 November 2016. Tickets went on sale on Thursday 10 November at 8am and sold out in less than an hour. On Monday 28 November, Anne-Marie, Sean Paul and Calum Scott were added to Night 1. On Tuesday 29 November Sigma and Russell Howard were added to Night 2. Capital FM confirmed via Twitter that Marvin Humes would open night one. Videos of the weekend were put on Capital FM's YouTube channel. Little Mix and Ellie Goulding were the main headliners with Calvin Harris and Shawn Mendes being the support headliners.
